I was looking for something small and easy to hang on my window and these did just that! There is no mess of cords, and the timer gives you the ease that you don't have to turn them on again yourself. So if you hang these in a place that's a bit harder to reach, you're all set! At first, I was worried the battery box with suction cup would be distracting, but they match my white window frames and are not disturbing to me.
I wish the light was a bit warmer, but it's hard to find any real warm LED lights these days. Each light needs 3 AAA batteries, as mentioned in the listing: these are not included. So make sure to have these on hand.
Putting in the batteries was actually a bit of a hassle. The suction cup that's attached to the back lid of the battery box is quite thick and makes it a bit harder to open and close the lid.
On the other hand, the suction cup is huge, so I'd be really surprised if the light decorations would ever fall down. It's pretty strong! The box also has a sheet provided with clear photos and instructions.
Overall, I like the shape and the amount of lights in the decorations. I just wish the bell also had a little light towards the bottom on its clapper.
Also, the box of the lights and the instruction sheet have a wrong description, it says it has 2 lighting modes: steady on and slow fade. It's actually steady on and quick flashing mode. Luckily, this does match the seller's description on Amazon's listing, where it says "steady-on and flash synchronized".
These Christmas window lights are adorable, with super bright and vivid colors that really stand out. The suction cups work well; they’ve stayed securely on my windows for a week without falling off. I like that they are a good size, bigger than I thought. And I also appreciate the timer function, which cycles the lights on for 6 hours and off for 18, and the option to choose between steady or flashing modes.
